A courtyardthat askswhy you came.
Brutalist guts. Mid-century calm. A pan-asian kitchen that took the long way home. Built for four-hour stays, not photo ops.

Spicy Kip
Mayo Rice
Karaage chicken — fried hard, cracked open, doused in chili oil so the rice underneath turns the colour of dusk. A sunny-side-up sits on the bowl like an answer. You stir it in. You eat it slowly. You stay.

Decay,
kept on purpose.
The walls are a 1930s shop-house that didn’t quite hide its history. The concrete columns weren’t patched. The brick wasn’t sanded smooth. The owners moved a long marble table into the middle of it, hung mid-century brass pendants from raw timber beams, and let the rest of the building keep telling the truth.
The kitchen runs the same way. Pan-Asian, but quiet about it. Karaage from one tradition, chili oil from another, mayonnaise from a third — assembled like someone at home, not a chef on a feed. Most of the regulars are at laptops by ten and still here at three. That’s the design brief, even if no one wrote it down.

Came for the karaage, stayed for the table. Nobody rushes you out of here, even when the place fills up around four.
Regular · DagoIt looks like a house someone keeps writing in. The walls aren't pretending to be anything other than themselves. I love it for that.
Slow-stay laptopCoffee is honest. Food is generous. The cat will sit on your work if you let it. Worth the bus from anywhere in Bandung.
